Census data for 33,000+ ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) — the Census Bureau's statistical approximation of USPS ZIP codes. Each ZIP profile includes income, housing costs, demographics, education, and more from the American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year Estimates.

ZIP codes are primarily postal routing zones, not true geographic units, so the Census Bureau creates ZCTAs to represent them statistically. In most cases ZCTA boundaries closely match ZIP code boundaries, but they may differ for P.O. box-only ZIPs or areas with sparse population. ZIP-level data tends to have higher margins of error than county or city data because the smaller population means smaller survey samples.
